Steve Marriott live was something special. I'm not sure if this video was recorded live because his vocals seem out of sync. I saw him with the amazing Packet of 3 and everything was so much more raw, it was fun and musically so spontaneous. Checkout Live at Dingwalls (CD) and Live in London videos.
It's just a bad copy of the video. It's all slightly out of sync.

In my humble pie opinion Stevie should have stuck with Ronnie Lane and the Small Faces. They were like two peas in a pod and they would have grown and had some more classic albums.

Thankfully, I'm old enough to have seen Mr Marriott on the pub circuit during the 80s. He packed the place out and everyone was rockin'. I can't think of one place to go to now. All bloody coffee shops...

Excellent slide and blues from the Brits; Frampton was on list to replace Mick Taylor with The Rolling Stones. His guitar work with Humble Pie shows why that was the case.

Funny, that he mentions "fine vocalists, like Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers, and Steve Marriott," just as I was thinking to myself what a wonder it is to me that with Humble Pie and Free being contemporaries, Led Zep was somehow the band that gained such an enduring reputation.
As someone who lived through those years in Ohio, I certainly put Steve Marriott up among the best of all-time. He was the equal of Rodgers and Plant, or anyone else who might be named. I bought the Humble Pie albums before Zeppelins, and played them for anyone that would listen. This video is a gem, and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I do understand your comment, but sometimes life just works out that way. Peace 💚
@@DaveB-hg7el Hey, hi... I grew up in Ohio myself! Yeah, I didn't have to buy Led Zep albums cuz everyone else had them and played the crap out of them. I was more into Humble Pie, Savoy Brown, Free, etc.
